Our Facilities

Our facility is a historical facility that dates back prior to 1900. The Odd Fellows Lawn has been in the community helping families and their loved ones for over 115 years. We have 22 acres of burials, crypts, niches and urn gardens to accommodate most any need.

The grounds are well maintained and full of mature trees giving a sense of peace, tranquility and a place for wildlife in the area to live. The staff works diligently to maintain the grounds so that loved ones are able to visit and walk the grounds to visit those who have passed.

Our Heritage

In 18th Century England, people were facing a lot of challenges. Life was tough, often lawless and desperate. Medicine was still crude and in a primitive stage. Life expectancy was about 45 years of age. There were lots of sickness caused by many things including unsanitary conditions spoiled food and simple diseases we now control with medications and healthy food. There were a great number of orphaned children and widowed mothers. Many families could not afford to pay for a decent burial for their family or friends.

A group of ordinary people from different trades and walks of life found it necessary to band together as brothers and sisters and contribute some of their hard-earned wages to a common fund which they could use for unfortunate times such as sickness, losing a job and even death. This group worked together to help each other and other unfortunate families back on their feet, whether it was rebuilding a home or barn that had burned, planting a new crop after a devastating season or one of the illnesses that spread through the community. They banded together to help people and care for those who were sick or dying and to help the families who lost a loved ones to illness, accident or famine.

It is on these principles that the Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum are founded. We are here to assist you in your time of need. To be a small light that shines in the darkness of the loss of a loved one.
